Things You Can Do Until the Boss Greenlights a Blog

Five Reasons Why the Boss May Not Want a Company Blog

  1. “Our competitors don’t have blogs” — this is actually one of the principal reasons our client needs to make a move right now, because being first in their online competitive environment will be such a big advantage.
  2. “If we have a blog, people will just use it to bring up problems” — his staff has explained to him that people would be able to comment on what his people write. If he’s worried about problems — real or imaginary — a blog could be the very best place to deal with them.
  3. “Our people don’t have the time” — if he approves the establishment of a blog, his people will have the time.
  4. “I don’t know if we have anyone who could write it” — in fact they do, and at least a couple of them already know that Allied Internet has the experience that will help them learn the process and get their blog going without having to start from scratch.
  5. “I don’t know what we’d write about” — Allied Internet works with business bloggers until they get fully comfortable with the creative process.
