Reciprocal Links
The mutual exchange of links from one site to another.
Referrer
The referrer is the Web page that sends a visitor to your site — a site that contains a link to your site — a search engine results page, for example.
Reloads
The total number of times your visitors have hit the "Refresh" or "Reload" browser button on a page
Robot
Also "Spider" or "Crawl" — A program that search engines use to visit every URL on the Internet. The program follows all links and catalogs all the text of web pages encountered during its journeys.
Robot Exclusion Protocol
A text file placed on a web server that instructs search engine spiders not to record or index information in specified areas on your web site.
RSS
Really Simple Syndication — an Internet technology which allows you not just to link to a Web page, but to subscribe to it — you can be notified every time that Web page (or certain parts of it) change.
RSS Aggregator
a software program used to read RSS feeds. Some are used in connection with your browser, others are stand-alone programs for your computer. Here is a list of RSS Aggregators.

Screen Resolution
The pixel width and height a computer's screen supports. Typical resolutions include 800x600, 1024x768, and 1680x1050. Larger monitors can handle larger screen resolution settings.
Search Engine
A specialized database that can be used to search for information on the Internet by entering key words and phrases into a search box on your Web browser. Search engines give you a list of Web pages that are related to the key words or phrases you enter. Google, Microsoft Live Search, and Yahoo! are popular search engines.
SEO
Search Engine Optimization — strategies intended to make your website more appealing to search engines, and and which give search engines a better understanding of the content of your site.
SERP
Search engine results pages
Server
A computer dedicated to a special purpose, for example, Web pages are located on a Web server, which often has a mail server associated with it.
Spider
Also "Robot" or "Crawl" — A program that search engines use to visit every URL on the Internet. The program follows all links and catalogs all the text of web pages encountered as it wanders the Web.
Trackback
A technique used in connection with a blog entry to show a list of other blogs that refer to it.
